The Photographer

Howard Slavitt has been studying photography for thirty years. His work focuses on light and how it brings out form in landscapes. Howard received a masters degree in cinema production from the University of Southern California where his thesis film won an Academy Award as one of the two best student narrative films in the country in 1989.

When Howard is not photographing nature, he works as an attorney in San Francisco, litigating intellectual property and other business disputes. He tries not to let his interest in the law interfere with his devotion to photography.
